My last semester at UIUC I had the opportunity to work as a graphic design intern for the Grainger College of Engineering, specifically for the Illinois Trust Institute. This internship taught me a lot about working for a client and designing for STEM based fields.
THE CLIENT
The Illinois Trust Institute is a department at the University of Illinois that focuses on creating more trustworthy critical infrastructure systems. During my time as a graphic designer for the department, I worked under two professors in the Grainger College of Engineering. The work was focused on taking very outdated infographics and redesigning them to fit modern standards.
